Jessica comes to the Commission from Lima, Peru and has a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science from National Agrarian University- La Molina.
Jessica's first professional job was in the pilot plant milk college, where she learned about dairy production and made processing fruit jellies for later use in yogurts. More recently, she was a Quality Control Inspector at Frio Aero in the International Airport Jorge Chavez where she inspected asparagus, mangos, blue berry, grenade and other products, in cold storage.
Jessica's father is an accountant, but works as an assistant manager in the area of claims in a private company. Her mom stays at home. She has two brothers and a sister. Her sister studied fisheries Engineering and Business Administration and my older brother is a doctor. Her boyfriend is food science engineer who he is working as the head of research.
Jessica likes to watch movies, dance salsa and bachata, listen to all kind of music and go out with friends, shopping and travel. IN the future, she wants to do her specialization in quality control management to get her title of engineer. Ultimately she wants to develop in the area of research and product development. She enjoys that area because every day she has the opportunity to create something new. Jessica wants to strengthen her knowledge on topics such as marketing, agribusiness and administration. This year I want to learn more about post harvest work, and all about the horticulture production, and improve her English.
