Santos was hired in March 2017 as a crew leader at the Commission. His focus is working with interns on any kind of field or lab work that needs to be done.
He was born in Wenatchee Washington, but grew up in Leavenworth. Santos studied at Wenatchee Valley College studying tree fruit/horticulture. Santos grew up in a pear orchard in Leavenworth, and was always involved with the work it takes year around to get ready for harvest in the summer.
He is the middle child of 5 children. He has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. His parents are from Guanajuato, Mexico and have been working in the fruit industry over 30 years.
In his spare time, Santos enjoys watching basketball and football and likes playing basketball with friends.
