PowerPoint shows are required for all research review presentations. Unless otherwise indicated, new proposals and final reports should be approximately 15 minutes in length, alotting 5 minute's time for questions. Continuing report shows will vary according to the number of reports. When submitting your shows, please save the file as follows:
- Name your file by day of presentation, military time and last name of presenter. For example, John Doe’s 1:15pm show would be named, "dayone1315Doe.pps".
- Save your PowerPoint file as a slide show. This is done by clicking on the "Save as" button and selecting PowerPoint show from the drop down list under "Save as type" located directly below the "file name" option.
Please use discretion when creating your PowerPoint files. If you wish to submit a show with additional files such as video clips, allow two business days in advance of the deadline date for us to ensure proper operation. While we do not (yet) have a file size limit, large files are slow to open and is a bit awkward to stand in front of a large group waiting for your show to begin. Also, we retain all shows, therefore, smaller files are appreciated.
